Policies
Registration
Registration is on a First Come-First Serve basis, registration is open until class size is full. All classes and schedules may be subject to change. The Academy reserves the right to cancel, re-schedule or change classes and/or instructors without advance notice. For more information call 724-643-9004, ext. 1311.
Class Placement
Students will be placed in a class according to age and number of years studied. The first two weeks of class will be used for student evaluations. After this time, students may be placed in a different class, this decision is solely at the instructor's discretion.
Location
The Henry Mancini Art Academy conducts classes in the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center. The Center is located at One Lincoln Park, Midland, PA 15059. Click here for directions.
Late Pick-up Policy
You will be given a 15 minute grace period after your child's class is over to pick up your child, after that you will be charged $1.00 per minute. This will be billed directly to the parent's account.
Meet and Greet Week
Meet and Greet Week will be held on September 26-October 1. Parents are invited into the studio at the beginning of class to learn about goals and objectives. The discussion will take place during the first few minutes of class — no observation of class will be permitted.
Parent Observation Week
Parents/guardians and guests are invited to view the children's classes during Parent Observation Week,
November 14-19.
Audition Opportunities
HMAA students are eligible to audition for the role of 'Chip' in LPPAC's "Beauty and the Beast", LPPAC's annual
production of "The Nutcracker" and Liberty Theater's "A Christmas Story". More information will be available soon.
Invitations to audition for the Mancini All Stars will be mailed to eligible students ages 8-18. The auditions will be held in the spring of 2012. The Mancini All Stars, a musical theater style performance group, are the goodwill ambassadors of the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center – and our community – to groups and organizations throughout the tri-state area.
Private Lesson Instruction
